Here we give you a guidance on their tour with the information that we believe may be of your interest. The information is indicative, may exist variations on designated hours.
TRANSFER from the airport, if you have it included or purchasing. Our transfer will be waiting for you with a poster on behalf of Europamundo or its name to the output of the custom (after collecting your luggage)..
Remember to inform us by phone if you lost your connection flight or expected delay of their arrival, in your VOUCHER figure the phone of the transfer.
IMPORTANT: If you had additional nights upon arrival the hotel will have your reservation, but his travel guide normally will not be until the night before the start of the tour.
IMPORTANT:
-Please note that hotel check-in time is usually at 02:00 p.m. If you require earlier room availability, consider booking an additional night at the beginning of your trip.
-If you requested additional nights, your room will be ready upon arrival at the hotel, but your trip guide will only contact you when the included activities begin. At the reception, you will find an information board with our staff’s telephone number and hours of assistance. Until then, you have free time to enjoy at your leisure. The hotel staff can assist you with any information you need.
-During your trip, your guide may offer optional activities. If these activities are available on the Europamundo app or through your "My Trip" link, we strongly recommend booking them as early as possible to ensure availability. Waiting until the last minute may result in missed opportunities due to limited tickets, bus seats, or other factors.
Note: The schedules provided in this itinerary are indicative. The guide may adjust them as needed to enhance the trip experience.
06:30 p.m. - We’ll transfer back to the hotel from the St. Mark´s area. You’ll have the opportunity to have dinner in the Mestre area, where you can choose from a variety of restaurants, including Indian, Oriental, Italian, and more.
This tour will conclude in Vatican City, an independent state within Rome and the heart of the Catholic Church. For those interested, our guide will offer an optional visit after the panoramic tour, providing deeper insight into St. Peter’s Basilica and the most notable rooms of the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel. The afternoon will be free.
06:30 p.m. - In the evening, we´ll include a transfer to Trastevere, a lively neighborhood known for its charming traditional restaurants. We’ll return to the hotel at approximately 08:30 p.m.
Scenery: Stunning landscapes in the Bay of Naples and Sorrento.
Note: As we will be taking some boats, we suggest bringing warm clothes for the deck. Don´t forget your camera; the landscapes are breathtaking. Due to weather conditions, the ships connecting Naples with Capri or Sorrento may not operate. In such cases, the route will be modified, arriving in Sorrento by road and visiting Amalfi instead of Capri.
07:00 a.m. – Departure from Rome to travel to the Bay of Naples in southern Italy.
11:00 a.m. – We’ll stop in Naples to board a ferry (tickets included). The estimated departure is at 11:35 a.m. for a 50-minute cruise through beautiful landscapes.
12:45 p.m. - Capri. Enjoy free time. You can visit the White Grotto or take a cable car ride to the center of Capri.
04:15 p.m. - Departure from Capri. We’ll board the ferry again and continue to Sorrento (schedule subject to change). Enjoy the beautiful views upon arrival in Sorrento.
05:15 p.m. – Sorrento. We’ll arrive in a picturesque and lively town at the foot of a cliff, with a harbor in the lower area.
06:30 p.m. - Departure from Sorrento.
08:15 p.m. - Salerno.
Note: During the winter months, schedules will be modified (leaving Naples earlier) to make the most of daylight hours.
Scenery: Mountains, sea, and picturesque villages along the route.
Note: We recommend bringing warm clothes to enjoy the ferry crossing between the Italian Peninsula and Sicily.
07:30 a.m. - Departure from Salerno. We’ll travel south through Italy, enjoying views of mountains and charming villages. Our route will take us along the picturesque coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea.
11:30 a.m. - Sanctuary of San Francesco di Paola. There will be time to explore this beautiful sanctuary set in stunning surroundings. Don’t miss the chance to visit the cave! Afterward, there will be free time for a stroll and lunch in the charming old town of Paola.
02:00 p.m. - Departure from Paola. We’ll continue to Villa San Giovanni, arriving around 4:30 p.m., where we’ll board a ship for a short 20-minute crossing to the island of Sicily.
05:30 p.m. - Messina. You’ll have time to explore the city center and enjoy your first experience on the island.
06:30 p.m. - Departure from Messina.
07:30 p.m. - Taormina. Arrival at our hotel. Dinner will be included.
Note: Accommodation will typically be in the Taormina region, though on certain dates, it may be in Messina.
Scenery: Beautiful inland landscapes of Sicily.
08:30 a.m. - Taormina. After breakfast, we’ll depart along the coast towards Sicily´s second-largest city.
09:30 a.m. - Arrival in Catania, a city founded by the Greeks in the 8th century B.C. and an important cultural and commercial hub throughout its history. There will be time to stroll through this lively city, which, despite the devastation caused by Etna´s eruptions and earthquakes, boasts a vibrant Baroque center. Highlights include its impressive cathedral.
10:45 a.m. - Departure from Catania as we continue our journey inland.
12:00 p.m. - Arrival in Caltagirone, a city recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its significant Baroque heritage. We’ll take a guided tour aboard a tourist train to discover the city’s main attractions. Known as the center of ceramics in Sicily, Caltagirone is famous for its shops and workshops, as well as landmarks like its 142-step staircase, each step adorned with unique tiles. You’ll have free time to explore and enjoy lunch.
02:45 p.m. - Departure from Caltagirone after lunch.
03:30 p.m. - Arrival at Villa Romana del Casale (admission included). We’ll visit this UNESCO World Heritage Site, which exemplifies the grandeur of Roman agricultural estates. Not only is the 4th-century architectural layout of the villa remarkably preserved, but the exquisite mosaics decorating nearly every room are considered among the most beautiful in the Roman world.
05:00 p.m. - Departure from Villa Romana.
06:30 p.m. - Agrigento. Before heading to the hotel, we’ll enjoy a panoramic view of the stunning Valley of the Temples from the comfort of our coach. Arrival at the hotel, with dinner included.
Today we’ll explore archaeological sites that highlight the influence of ancient Greece in Sicily. Accompanied by a local guide, we’ll visit the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento, an impressive archaeological site renowned for its well-preserved Greek temples (admission included).
11:00 a.m. - Departure from Agrigento.
01:30 p.m. - Marsala. Arrival in this historic city known for its vibrant atmosphere and famous wine. We’ll have time for lunch.
03:00 p.m. - Departure from Marsala. We’ll continue our journey around the scenic Marsala salt pans.
04:15 p.m. - Erice. This picturesque Phoenician town, perched atop a hill and surrounded by ancient walls, invites us to take a leisurely stroll.
05:15 p.m. - Departure from Erice.
07:15 p.m. - Palermo. Dinner and accommodation.
Note: Remember to prepare a small bag for the night crossing; bulky luggage will remain in the coach for the night.
09:00 a.m. - After breakfast, we’ll begin our guided tour of Palermo. We’ll transfer to the charming village of Monreale, now located on the outskirts of the city. Here, we’ll visit the stunning Arab-Norman cathedral, a World Heritage Site renowned for its magnificent golden mosaics (tickets included). Back in Palermo, we’ll explore the cathedral (tickets included), famous for its eclectic architectural styles and royal tombs. We’ll also visit the Norman Palace (former Royal Palace), its fountains, markets, and gardens. Our panoramic tour will conclude at the Teatro Massimo Square, after which you’ll have free time for lunch and a leisurely stroll.
06:00 p.m. - We’ll transfer you to the port to board a modern night ferry, which will depart at 08:00 p.m. Our night cruise across the Mediterranean will include accommodation in double cabins with private bathrooms. Please note that breakfast is not included on the ferry. The ferry will be equipped with all modern comforts, including restaurants, bars, a banquet hall, and spacious lounges.
Note: Occasionally, due to weather conditions or changes in ferry schedules, we may need to use a different ferry than originally planned. These changes are often communicated on short notice and may affect services scheduled for Sunday.
Note: We recommend wearing comfortable shoes to walk around Pompeii.
We’ll arrive at the Port of Naples at 7:30 in the morning. After disembarking, we’ll depart for Pompeii, the ancient Roman city buried by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius two thousand years ago. Admission and a guided tour are included to explore the history of this remarkable site.
11:30 a.m. - Departure from Pompeii.
12:00 p.m. – Naples – one of the most fascinating cities in Italy and among the oldest populated places in Europe. The historic center Naples is one of the largest in Europe and has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There will be time for a stroll and lunch.
04:00 p.m. - Departure from Naples.
07:00 p.m. – Rome.
Note: Depending on the arrival time in Naples (which may vary due to maritime conditions and shipping line) and the time of year, the visit to Pompeii may take place either before or after your free time in Naples. During cooler periods, it is typically scheduled after Naples.
Scenery: Pleasant landscapes of historical towns along the route.
Note: We recommend wearing comfortable shoes as the city tour of Florence involves walking.
08:00 a.m. – Departure from Rome (time may vary, depending on the departure points).
12:30 p.m. – Florence. Upon arrival, we´ll stop at the Michelangelo viewpoint for a photo opportunity, offering one of the most stunning views of the city. Following this, we´ll embark on a sightseeing tour with a local guide of this renowned city, one of Italy´s most visited destinations considered the cradle of the Renaissance and some of the most influential artists and thinkers in history, such as Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Botticelli, and Raphael. Highlights of the tour include the Gothic cathedral Duomo di Firenze, the historic Ponte Vecchio, known for its goldsmith workshops along its paved streets and Piazza della Signoria, the city´s political heart featuring the medieval town hall. Free time in the afternoon. We recommend visiting one of its impressive museums, such as the Accademia Gallery or the Uffizi Gallery.
Landscapes: Beautiful views of the Mediterranean.
08:00 a.m. - Departure from Florence.
09:15 a.m. - Pisa. Our guide will offer you insightful information about the monumental site. According to the city´s tourist regulations, we will need to park the bus in the designated area assigned by the town hall, which is about one kilometer away from the site itself. You´ll have the option to walk or take a bus to reach there. Please remember the bus number for your return journey; our guide will provide you with this information.
11:00 a.m. - Departure from Pisa. We’ll continue along the Mediterranean coast, passing by the white marble mountains of Carrara. We’ll exit the highway through the Italian Riviera, one of the most beautiful places in the Mediterranean.
12:45 p.m. - Sestri Levante. Charming small seaside resort town. Time for a stroll and lunch.
03:00 p.m. - Departure from Sestri Levante. We’ll follow the Riviera amidst spectacular seascapes.
06:00 p.m. - Monte Carlo. Time for a stroll in this glamorous area, and if you wish, you can visit its famous casino (remember to bring your passport with you).
07:15 p.m. - Departure from Monte Carlo. We’ll continue along the middle corniche towards the capital of the French Riviera.
08:00 p.m. - Nice.

Please, check the time of your flight in case you might need an additional night. Our guide will advise you on the best public transportation for your transfers.
If you need to book an external service (like a plane or train) on the last day of your tour, which includes activities, please note that the detailed itineraries are based on "planned" schedules and could be affected by various factors such as traffic, customer delays, mechanical issues, etc. It´s advisable not to book a flight or train with a tight schedule without considering these factors. Always allocate extra time in your schedule for unexpected events.
